Christopher House 20th Annual Gala
A special thanks to our sponsors and all of our supporters who helped make this year's gala a success! We raised close to $350,000 and welcomed nearly 300 guests for an unforgettable evening celebrating Christopher House children and families.
This year's gala was held at the Ravenswood Billboard Factory, 4043 N. Ravenswood Ave, on Saturday, May 8th. Guests were transported back to the golden year of Las Vegas, complete with the music provided by “Mr. Rat Pack” Frank Lamphere and the Rat Pack Jazz Band.
Presented by U.S. Cellular, the event, titled “When the House Wins, Families Win,” celebrated the tremendous progress and significant impact the organization has made on low-income families in Chicago over its 100-plus year history, while looking ahead to the future of expanding its community impact.
“I am excited that we raised close to $350,000,” said Christopher House Executive Director Lori Ann Baas. “I am thankful for everyone who attended and donated. I am extremely proud of our board members, staff and volunteers who all helped make this year’s event a huge success.”
Gala co-chairs were Tom Woodrow and Barbara Stewart. Tom Woodrow is a Partner at Holland & Knight and Barbara Stewart is a Senior Vice President at JPMorgan Chase. They both are members of Christopher House’s Board of Directors; Tom serves as President to the Board and Barbara is the Vice President. Café Magazine was the media sponsor.

For twelve years Barbara has served on our Board of Directors and as Vice President of the Board for 10 of those years.
Paul Hastings, Janofsky & Walkers, LCC - Family Advocate Award -We would like to honor Paul Hastings in recognition of its powerful and innovative approach to corporate philanthropy.
